The Brazilian Association of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (AB3C) is a scientific organisation that started in July 2004, and since then has been in charge of the "X-Meeting" annual conference.
The X-Meeting is an annual congress on bioinformatics and computational biology that brings together researchers, academics, students, and industry professionals to discuss the latest advancements in the field.
The 20th X-Meeting took place on the Hotel Deville Prime Salvador, BA, Brazil, from June 11 to June 14, 2024, and included lectures, oral presentations, poster sessions, round tables, and workshops on a variety of bioinformatics and computational biology-related topics, such as genomics, proteomics, data analysis, algorithms, and machine learning, among others.
The X-Meeting is designed for researchers, academics, students, and industry professionals involved in bioinformatics and computational biology, with the aim of promoting knowledge dissemination and collaboration among researchers and professionals in the related fields, thereby contributing to the advancement of global science and technology.
