The V Brazilian Congress of Assistive Technology will be held in Curitiba, from September 30 to October 3, 2025.
The event, conceived by the Assistive Technology Research and Development Network, has been held biannually since 2016, and aims to provide a space for dialogue and exchange of knowledge, in order to promote scientific dissemination related to research and the development of technologies aimed at improving the quality of life of people with disabilities. disability, disability and reduced mobility, favoring or expanding their communication, mobility, control of the environment, learning skills, work and inclusion with family, friends and society.
What is Assistive Technology?
Assistive Technology: are products, equipment, devices, resources, methodologies, strategies, practices and services that aim to promote functionality, related to the activity and participation of people with disabilities, disability and reduced mobility, aiming at their autonomy, independence, quality of life and social inclusion¹.
