Resumo
Abstract Increasing demand for flexible electrodes led the researchers to develop new materials and processing methods. In this work, flexible electrodes based on conducting material such carbon nanotubes or silver were produced through screen printing or spraying method onto PET or paper substrates. Screen printing is a low cost method which has been used to deposit conducting nanoparticles inks or pastes in defined patterns, while the spray method allow the production in large areas with proper surface covering. These electrodes were characterized through UV - Vis, optical profilometer and four probe methods and compared with a commercial flexible electrode composed of indium tin oxide (ITO) film. The results pointed out that, depending on the substrate, the films can present transmittance of ~ 80 % at the visible range and sheet resistance varying from 1 - 1 kiloohms / square.
