In April 2021 the Federal University of São João del-Rei (Brazil) hosted the 1st National Congress of Physics, Chemistry and Engineering of Materials (I CoNFQEMat), with an acronym derived from Portuguese translation “I Congresso Nacional de Física, Química e Engenharia de Materiais”. Despite the adjective “National”, the first edition of the event was, in essence, an international conference that congregated Brazilian and worldwide students, professors and researches.
In its second edition, the event assumes an international character and is called by 2nd Congress of Physics, Chemistry and Engineering of Materials (II ConFQEMat), an acronym from Portuguese translation “II Congresso de Física, Química e Engenharia de Materiais”.
The second edition will be held in online modality in 11-14th September 2023, beginning the tradition that the event takes place biennially. The event aims to disseminate scientific knowledge aimed at the application of Physics, Chemistry and Engineering techniques in the synthesis, processing, characterization, study, understanding and problem solving in the field of Materials.
