ABOUT THE EVENT
The III National Symposium on Innovation in Food Science and Engineering (INECA) will take place in conjunction with the III International Symposium on Food Science (SINCA), organized by the Postgraduate Programs in Food Science and Engineering at UESB and in Food Science at UFBA.
This edition, the event will be held entirely in person from August 13 to 15, 2025, in Porto Seguro, Bahia, with the central theme: “Interdisciplinarity in Food Science: Emerging and Innovative Topics”.
The Symposium aims to present new trends and perspectives in the scientific and technological scenario, both nationally and internationally, in the food area. In addition, it seeks to provide participants with updated knowledge, expanding the possibilities of action for Food Engineers and professionals in related areas in the current context.
It's an excellent opportunity to learn more about recent advances in food engineering, science and technology and how they are shaping the future of the food industry.
