The event
It is with great satisfaction that we arrive at the V Meeting of Entomology and Biodiversity Conservation (EECB). This event, which has already established itself as one of the main meetings in the area, bringing together undergraduate and graduate students and professors, as well as professionals in entomology from Brazil, Colombia, Peruvians, Argentines, Mozambicans, Paraguayans, Portuguese, English and several other nationalities, to discuss the challenges and advances related to entomology and biodiversity conservation.
With the theme Insects in the scenario of global climate change, the V EECB will provide participants with the opportunity to participate in lectures, round tables, mini-courses and presentations of scientific papers. In addition, there will be a photo and scientific illustration contest and a raffle for gifts.
Therefore, do not miss the opportunity to participate in the V EECB, an event that will certainly contribute to your professional and academic development, in addition to enabling the exchange of knowledge and experiences with other professionals in the field. We look forward to seeing you!
Each participant can submit up to 3 (three) abstracts as first author, but there is no limit to co-authorship.
Papers should be in simple abstract format or expanded abstract with research results, literature review or experience reports.
Notes:
Two files of the respective abstract must be submitted, one with identification of the authors and the other without identification;
Projects will not be accepted;
Literature reviews that do not meet the guidelines of the abstract will not be accepted;
It will not be possible to make any edits, corrections or changes to the works after their submission. Check all authors' data, contacts, affiliations, title, among others before making the submission. Except after the correction of the abstracts, in case there are indications of changes and improvements by the scientific committee.
3 abstracts will be selected per thematic area for oral presentation during the event and the best abstract per area will receive an honorable mention. All approved papers will be published in annals with ISSN.
ATTENTION: An amount of R$ 4.99 will be charged at the time of submission to cover the costs of the platform.
III Contest of Photography and Scientific Illustration in Entomology
The organizing committee of the V EECB invites you to participate in the "Contest of Photography and Illustration Scientific in Entomology". This aims to p a ="font-size: 16px;"> Photography & Illustration among the participants of the meeting as a way of valuing and disseminating Entomology and related topics.
The certificates will be released after the end of the event, being 1 certificate of participation in the event, 1 of publication in proceedings, 1 of publication in annals, 1 Certificate of oral presentation (only for those who have their work selected to be presented during the event) and 1 certificate of participation in the mini-course.
Certificates of publication in proceedings will be released for all papers accepted for publication.
To receive the certificate of participation, the participant must fulfill a minimum workload of 75% of the event's activities ( lecture + question and answer session + presentation of papers) which is equivalent to 4 days of event. It is important to note that the mini-course will not be included as an attendance at the event.
Note:Due to the platform's certification policy, the certificate is available for free download for only 90 days after publication, after this period a fee of R$ 12.99 per certificate is charged. Thus, we ask that when you receive an email about the release of the certificates, you verify your data and download it.
