The submission of the video is the authors' sole responsibility. To forward it, you will need to have a Gmail email account and adopt the procedures according to your mode of submission.
ORAL PRESENTATION:
Each exhibitor will record his/her presentation in video with a duration of 10 to minutes and will forward it to the Scientific Committee until October 5th, through the link: https://forms.gle/RiTzReYQhjfrV4bJ8
• The recording must be done in landscape format and in a quiet environment. The speaker should avoid wearing clothes of the same color as the background, and should not sit with their backs to windows or against the light.
• Videos must come with subtitles or audio translation. If the communication is in English, it must be translated into Portuguese or Spanish and, being in one of these languages, it must have a translation into English. The translation, a mandatory condition for the presentation of the work, is the responsibility of the person responsible for the work.
According to the general event schedule (in progress), at the time defined for its presentation, the video will be shown to all registered participants. After that, a room is opened, live, with the presenter of the work, for questions and other interventions related to the presentation. We will have simultaneous translation at this time. After the time allocated for this activity, the coordinator closes the room.
PRESENTATION OF ORGANIZED SECTIONS:
Sessions will have a maximum duration of 50 minutes. The time should be divided by the number of exhibitors at the table (if we have a session with 5 participants, each will speak 10 minutes. If there are only 2, each will speak 25 minutes).
Language
Works in English, Spanish or Portuguese will be
accepted. For papers presented in
Portuguese and Spanish, an abstract in English will be required before
publication.
Please consider that the official language of the conference is English, with Portuguese and Spanish as second languages. No formal translation services will be available during presentations or roundtables/discussions. We suggest that oral presentations are previously video recorded to be subtitled in English (if done in other language) and/or in Portuguese or Spanish (if done in another language, even if in English) to facilitate larger audience understanding and participation. There are currently interesting tools available online that help us doing that! Your taped presentation can precede the online discussion. If you are not able to do that, try then to have you slides or the key information in English, or have a colleague helping in the translation of key concepts.
After we
rethink and reshape last year’s project into a full online Conference for 2021
considering the challenging conditions of the world is facing today, we made the
decision to reduce costs at the most to have the Conference more affordable and
participatory as possible to all.

The Society for Human Ecology (SHE) is an international interdisciplinary professional society that promotes the use of an ecological perspective in research, education, and application.
SHE’s goals are to:
· Provide a forum through which scientists, scholars, educators, and practitioners may exchange ideas and information.
· Promote the advancement of an ecological perspective in interdisciplinary studies and practice.
· Identify problems, discover their origins, examine possible solutions and their implications, and then make recommendations for implementing those solutions.
· Look ahead to the consequences of human action on our social, natural, and built environments.
· Build cooperative arrangements among human ecology programs and organizations throughout the world.
· Facilitate the exchange of this information throughout an international network of individuals interested in human ecology.
The Society holds regular conferences, conducts workshops and symposia, and co-sponsors a variety of related activities to further integrate work among professionals in fields pertaining to human ecology.
